Captain's Quarters

Perfect size home for our family of 6. Very nice home with plenty of seating and comfortable beds. We rented a golf cart for a few days that was a lot of fun just being able to drive the island at a slow pace to take in the sights. They are still rebuilding from the hurricane so not all pictures on Google are accurate of how the town looks today. The business owners and locals are doing a great job with many options of “To Do” when staying at Cedar Key.We went to Steamers 2 nights while there. Great food and service. My husband says “the best scallops he has ever had”We visited a few of the gifts shops. They have some really neat, unique items. We went to 1842 for some great breakfast sandwiches and amazing coffee with a laid back friendly vibe.We rented a pontoon boat for the day from Cedar Key Marina. Tommy and Ana were great at providing us with all the information we needed. We caught a few catfish and had an amazing day on the water.We had perfect weather the entire week there. A beautiful house in a beautiful location! The island is so nice, everyone is friendly and all the restaurants are amazing. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The owners were super nice and really made the stay a 10 for us. I will mention real quick that there are not tvs in 2 of the 3 rooms just incase you are traveling with kids. Didn't really matter to us during the stay at all. The house was well stocked on linen and had trash pickup weekly. Quiet area as well. The main street is cute with lots of little shops and everything is walking distance.

The yellow house was perfect for our trip to Cedar Key. Nice home with beautiful water views and easy walk to downtown. The living area was large enough to host dinner and game nights with the rest of the family staying at other locations. Host response was excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Cedar Key and our stay at the Sea Jewel. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The deck was awesome, offering beautiful coastal views, stunning sunsets, and it was the perfect spot to enjoy the breezes. Our host reached out upon our arrival to make sure we had contact information if we needed anything, though we didn’t need a thing. The house was clean and very well equipped, with several unexpected and appreciated touches that made our stay most comfortable. The welcome guide was informative, Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and both check-in and check-out were seamless.We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the Sea Jewel as a wonderful home base when visiting Cedar Key.
