Island Hotel Room 28

Definitely did not get what was described. Positive: It was a neat historic place. Negative: Their version of a private bath was not in our room and had to cross a hallway with two common areas in between. It was awful. Plus they had the air conditioning on so low i froze to death. I would finally get warm. And then I would have to go to the bathroom and would freeze all over again. Plus the lights in the hallway were so bright. It blinded me every time I came out of the bedroom to go to the bathroom. I could not stay there the second night.We left even though they would not refund our money. There was no way I could spend another night like that. And I am not picky and have never.I've done a bad review on a hotel before . The description also said it was a suite . Which means the bathroom is in the bedroom. The description was also wrong regarding on site water activities etc

Positive: People and facility were excellent Negative: Our bathroom was across the hall kind of inconvenient

If you visit Cedar Key and ready for some inconvenience - good place to stay Positive: very old facility with authentic furniture center of city restaurant is good for dinner pleasant staff Negative: two separate beds shower and toilet - you need to cross corridor just one lamp for one bed - another one without lamp

Relaxing & interesting as regards to the history of it! Positive: The history & ambience! Negative: Parking

It was a great stay but we didnt realize room 28 had its bath outside the room. We'll be coming back in Oct and stay in room 30 with ensuite bath.. thank you!!
