Island Hotel Room 29

This hotel is definitely an historic experience. However, it is time for some modern upgrades. The floor in room 29 is uneven and should be leveled. The shower in the bathroom should be able to accommodate a man standing upright. A light over the bathroom mirror should not be just a lightbulb in a socket with a pull string. However, the wrap around porch and the seating with a beautiful view is a lovely spot to relax. It appears that the town is still recovering from storm damages so be aware when traveling to this area.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. Fun times in the Neptune lounge. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Did not see any ghosts this time, so will have to come back again.

My wife and I recently stayed at the historic Island Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 29. The hotel is very charming and is chock full of history. We met Andy and Bud and they welcomed us and truly made us feel special throughout our stay. We dined nightly in the Neptune Lounge and the food was fresh and delicious. We even had Buds famous ribs one night and they were among the best I have ever had! This is a great place to stay! You won’t be disappointed.

We had an awesome stay at the Island Motel and Restaurant. The food in the Dining Room was delicious. The drinks and entertainment in the Neptune Bar were tasty and fun! And the sweet, kind, polite, patriotic, tolerent, resilient folks of Casey Key are the best! Thank you for everything!

Stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel. A lot of history and nostalgia. Hospitality is five star, the staff treat you like family. The food in the restaurant is great as well. We will stay again.
