Island Hotel Room 29

It is a lovely place. That being said, prepare yourself.. it is a historic building. You must be willing to be ok with that in order to enjoy your stay. It is clean and the staff could not have been more pleasant. Food at restaurant was very good. The town has been hit hard by storms so that impacts your options. But it won’t come back to its hey day if people don’t visit.

The Island Hotel is our favorite place to stay in Cedar Key. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We love sitting on the balcony in the evening enjoying a cool breeze and watching the golf carts drive up and down the street. The Neptune Bar is a great for drinks and/or dinner. The more formal dining room is wonderful, as well. Both places offer the same menu and the food is some of the best we’ve eaten. In our opinion, there’s no better place to stay in Cedar Key.

Great vibe for relaxing. The Island Hotel was my base for 4 days of exploring and recharging. I'll be back.

We could not have had a more peaceful adventure. Loved our stay. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant food was amazing. Only comment is that a towel rack is needed in the bathroom.
