Island Hotel Room 32

Lovely historic property with lots of charm and a very walkable location. Check -in was a breeze, wonderful hospitality. It was my birthday that evening, and was sorry I came on a Monday and missed dinner and the very quaint bar (closed Mondays). There was a nice sitting area upstairs and the perfect place to have a glass of wine. Great bed, slept like a baby! Good strong coffee in the morning! Amazing artwork and a perfect private courtyard, I would definitely recommend.

We had a terrific getaway weekend at the Island Hotel

Absolutely loved the age and uniqueness of this hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and laid back. Positive: Location was great. Love the atmosphere. Old Hotels are the best! Negative: Room was a little cold for my wife but, I was fine. I could have asked to turn up the heat if we wanted to.

We’ve visited Cedar Key numerous times over the years, but just spent 2 nights at the Island Hotel for the first time. What a delight. Clean, comfortable, and absolutely charming. You feel like you stepped back in time. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the second story veranda overlooking 2nd St. Had a nice meal and cold beverages with friendly staff in the lounge. Great place to start a walk along the waterfront and historic neighborhoods. Don’t miss this place!
