Stay-Seas Hideaway #214 at Cedar Cove Condos

Cedar Keys is a quaint wonderful small beach town still reeling from the hurricane. Positive: We randomly chose Cedar Key for a 2 night stay on our way to Tallahassee. We chose it for proximity and dog friendliness. It is the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed. Dogs can go on the beach, the piers, the hotels, the restaurants (outside), and the bars and shops. Dozer got to go everywhere and had a great weekend getaway. The Cedar Cover condos are recovering from the hurricane like all businesses there. You have to look past the left over devastation and buildings that are still not repaired. The proximity to the beach and downtown could not be better. We didn't start the car until we left. The condo itself is adequate and comfortable as well as a good value for beach access property. Negative: Cedar Key is very isolated. You will need to bring all provisions with you. I was disappointed in trying to get us for another 40 bucks for early check in, which was a very late 4 pm.

I appreciate that the property accepted pets. The room was clean. The deck was so relaxing. I loved the water view. Overall our stay was great.

The room was very clean with plenty of soft towels. It has a great view of downtown and the gulf. We would definitely stay in this room again.

Wonderful place to stay, beautiful sunsets, friendly, natives, and cute beach with wonderful amount of amenities. Positive: Loved that it was right next to the city Beach, quiet, very family oriented area. Negative: When there was low tide, there was no water up to the property, which made it a little bit smelly, but wasn’t that big a deal, that is just nature.
