Seaside Escape

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation at “Seaside Escape”. All the comforts of home and then some! Had a treat of watching an Osprey family take care of their babies! Also viewed a large pod of dolphins at the beach…so cool!

Our first stay at Seaside Escape, although, we have vacationed on Cedar Key every year for a decade or more. We were thrilled with the quiet, almost end of road location. Very lovely, well-shaded property, backing onto a small tidal canal. Birds, from waders to song birds, were in abundance, as well as an osprey nest atop a large pine in the back yard. Nights were cool and days were warm, making for an ideal vacation. We spent many hours sitting on the large, screened back porch, talking, reading, snacking, and imbibing. Cedar Key is a great place for doing very little, other than planning the required visits to our favorite restaurants. McCormick agency was close at hand, checking in before, during, and after our stay, offering to assist with any problems... of which we had non. An excellent time was had by all.

The house was perfectly set up for the whole family. Very clean and felt like home. We will definitely stay again.
