HMS Sea Pearl

We loved our stay at HMS Sea Pearl. Everything was perfect. The pictures on the website were very accurate, but it was even more fabulous in person. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the various decks and the screened porch. We parked the car and walked everywhere for our two nights there. We love Cedar Key and have been vacationing there for years. While Cedar Key is still recovering from Hurricane Helene, they have made a lot of progress and several great restaurants and bars are open. We enjoyed food and/or drinks at 2nd Street Cafe, Steamers, 1842 Daily Grind & Mercantile, Island Hotel & Restaurant, Liam & Madi's, and Cedar Key Island Bakery. They were all great places. We were only there for two nights, so there were some we didn't get to try this visit.

I stayed at the Sea Pearl in April 2025 and absolutely loved everything about it!! The apartment could easily cater two two couples or a small family. It was clean, had outside verandas, good sized kitchen, and despite being on top of a shop and adjacent to the bar, was very quiet. The views were lovely although not all views are of the ocean. Staff were great; I arrived about an hour early and they managed to let me in so I could clean up and relax after the long drive to get to Cedar Key. Location was great: close to food, shops, and the water. I would absolutely stay here again! The only 2 potential issues I'd raise: 1. The apartment is at the top of the building so be ready for stairs! 2. There is no wash machine or dryer. Otherwise, it was a perfect apartment and the rental agents were great to deal with. Looking forward to my next stay!!

We stayed in the Sea Pearl which is a large suite with views on all 4 sides. The room was updated, very clean and stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The hosts kept us well informed via email before, during and after our stay. I will caution that if you go early in the week as we did, several restaurants were not open Monday and Tuesday. Overall all, I would highly recommend HMS Sea Pearl if you are going to Cedar Key.

Outstanding rooms and views in a perfect location !!!!

Second time staying at the Sea Pearl suite, Harbour Master Suites Cedar Key was perfect! Up-front communication by the team was effective and courteous. The suite was ready on time, clean and kitchen well-stocked for dining-in. Contact-less entry was a breeze, parked right in front and never used the car for the rest of the weekend. There are several flights of stairs to the unit which allows incredible views once you catch your breath - haha. Dolphins put on a show for us one morning and in the evening we could view and enjoy first the sunset then the live entertainment from one of the many balcony perches. All really suited our party of four - two couples - who also enjoyed a boat ride with Tidewater Tours and a fascinating tour at the History Museum. We'll be back!
